One of the things we hear most often is "There used to be a store just like this in--". We are one of the the few surviving General Stores, places that were much more to their communities than any comparable store today. Built in 1860, the year Abraham Lincoln was elected, these walls have absorbed thousands of stories. If baby needed a bonnet, your horse threw a shoe, or Granny needed her rheumatiz medicine, this is where you would come. We try to maintain the spirit of the General Store, but with a little bit of funk, soul, & rock & roll thrown in. We are located in the heart of the Cataract Business District, in fact, we ARE the Cataract Business District. Just a stoen's throw from the "Niagara of Indiana", Cataract Falls.
